'Bella Patchwork' Quilt
Greetings!
I saw this quilt top over at Linz Sews (http://linzsews.blogspot.com/). We were thinking, how cute would it be to applique little houses in the black squares, and little trucks on the grey/yellow? Like a little neighborhood - it would fun for I Spy. A good project to start before any nephews come along (hint hint), that way I don't have to stress about getting a quilt actually DONE in about 9 months. Imagine that..... Either way this is a beautiful quilt, and I LOVE the variation of it in turquoise and purple!
Gotta love paint.

Welcome
Hello and welcome to my blog!!
I am looking forward to posting new ideas and creations here, and as I do that, sharing them with you!!
Laura's Aurora Textile Creations is to be a blog of color, motivation, inspiration, and anything and almost everything crafty! I frequently craft with my friends, so will try to refrain for saying "I" often, as I find it hard to remember if they were my ideas or theirs. Gotta give them credit, you know?
We are a bit busy finishing up the last bits of the school year right now, but should be having regular posts up by late July (July is rainy season up here in Alaska, until then I will be outside as much as possible!)
